More apostate hating from the Watchtower

i ran across this post on fb-.

the november 15, 2011 study version of the watchtower, has this to say in an article praising jehu's actions against the family of ahab.

"the prophet elisha sent one of the sons of the prophets to anoint jehu as king and to instruct him to kill every male of the apostate house of ahab.2 ki.

Its the old old story this Jehu guy just like many others gives himself credence by claiming God told him to do what we would now consider as war crimes or war crimes against humanity he was making out his actions were sanctioned by God and people fell into line just because of his say so.

It's crazy just like the Watchtower leaders.

"Mentally diseased" article to be published in The Independent tomorrow

hi everyone.

as a parting gift to you all before i take a much needed break from this forum, i thought you would be pleased to know that the independent, a leading uk newspaper, will be publishing a piece on the "mentally diseased" watchtower article in tomorrow's edition.. i would like to thank everybody who has assisted the journalist, jerome taylor, in his investigation.. best wishes to all of you,.

I was hoping somebody could explain exactly what the Watchtower was teaching with this illustration as I have do not recall seeing it before.

Any suggestions will be most enlightning.

As the nights draw in this time of the year I close the curtains and derive a warm comforting glow from red hot sinders.

Unfortunately my poker does not have the same reach as the ones depicted by the Wacktower I therefore have to get closer to the chimney and sometimes I use the bellows which I find very effective for fast combustion.

Very good points you make . It shows just how far removed from true Christian brotherhood the Witness Org. is when they even dishonour and despise their own flesh and blood if they dare to take an opposing view. How can they say that another persons belief is wrong when they have the temerity to change their point of view and call it new light. Its the old old story of the blind leading the blind .

While we are on the subject is the wearing of pink lingerie on the quiet by the JW husband a disfellowshipping offence or is that a concious matter and does it fall foul of the witness dress code if bra and panties don't match when going from door to door.

Society tells us to stop asking questions...

i was just glancing at the back of the october 15th watchtower and the questions from readers.

the question under discussion is "what should i do when i have a question about something i read in the bible or when i need advice about a personal problem?".

the article goes on to discuss how we should consult the watch tower publications index among the many 'tools' that have been provided by the faithful and discreet slave whenever we have a question that is not directly discussed in the publications.. one statement really caught my eye, because it's the first time i've ever seen the society actually dissuade people from writing in with questions.

When you hand over your mind to a dictatorship you will not be allowed to ask questions which is what happened in Natzi Germany .

The authoritarian will tell you what is good for you no questions asked.

I was told years ago that questioning the Society reflected my mind set and that I had been in the Truth long enough to know they were right I was told I should not be even thinking the Society was wrong.

I have been out of that mad organisation for a long time now thank goodness and looking back it would be laughable if it wasn't a serious matter.

Its all a fantasy after all something mad which was dreamt up by either plain stupid men or clever evil twisters likened to snake oil salesmen.

What about how much they contributed to the banking system by re-investing they must have put the money somewhere. I mean the banks needed to lend money to a lot of Worldly concerns including Satans Governments around the Globe.

The Watchtower Corp. wouldn't let a little thing like investing in futures stand in their way of maximising profit.
